I have an Advent TV remote and I need the code for a Magnavox TV

an Advent TV remote will not work for a Magnavox TV.. Unless its universal.. and if it is universal then the Advent remote will have all the necessary programming codes inside the manual that goes with the remote control or the remote controls unit.
